STEIN LTD, St.Petersburg got Certificate of Accreditation # 1 for elevator installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair works. The certificate issued by ‘Industrial Safety Fund of North West Russia’ in accordance with new rule. Corresponding Licenses by Gosgortechnadzor were cancelled last year, and therefore all actors of elevating industry are entitled to be accredited by ‘Industrial Safety Fund’. Stein company became the very first one in the field.

Stein completed repair works and commissioning of elevator for ‚Akademik Fyodorov’ science vessel, which departed November 10th from St.Petersburg to Antarctica with 49th Russian expedition. The vessel is a flagman ship of Russian Arctic fleet. ‚Akademik Fyodorov’ have to deliver to Russian science stations in Antarctica of Novolayarevskaya, Progress and Mirniy new crew members. It is scheduled two trips of the ship for the season. Currently it cares 102 scientists and over 3’000 tons of equipment, fuel, goods and building materials.

STEIN moves to new location. Stein Ltd. has scheduled its moving to new St.Petersburg location offering improved office space and technical support for emergency service. The new location is expected to be better suited to serving needs of St.Petersburg market.
